A San Francisco Press Club Win!

Last night I and several hundred of San Francisco’s press corp gathered at the Julia Morgan Ballroom for the 2025 San Francisco Press Club Awards. News organizations are able to nominate pieces for various categories, then the winners are selected by press clubs in other cities.

I have won San Francisco Press Club awards in 2023 and 2024, so I was thrilled to be invited back this year to receive an award.

In 2023 I won first place for my piece on a Trans professional wrestler, in 2024 I won an award with a team at KQED for a piece I sound designed for “The Bay.”

This year I won a third place award for feature/photography for my piece ‘Hunky Jesus 2024: Life in plastic is fantastic’ for The Bold Italic.
